Outdoor teakwood furniture needs little maintenance in order to preserve its natural properties. Indeed, teakwood is a greasy wood, full of oleoresins, which, when they must face external aggressions (rain, snow, sun…), have the tendency to dry. In order to help your furniture resist better to the weather changes, we recommend a regular rubbing with teakwood oil. |
This protection, quick and easy to apply, must be done every 2 months during the first year so that the wood gets used to the hygrometry of its new environment, then twice a year, before and after summer.
How to do? After getting your furniture rid of impurities with a soft brush, apply teakwood oil with a paintbrush and let it dry. Repeat once again and polish lightly. |
